Haarkur Hair problems are often a sign of ill health. In cases such as malnutrition, stress and hormonal fluctuations, the hair presents brittle with minimal elasticity. It is always worth adding argan oil to your diet: either in capsular form or as a cooking oil. It regulates hormonal balance and supplies the body with valuable nutrients that help improve health.

For hair and scalp health, there are an extensive range of shampoos, conditioners and hair treatments containing argan oil. Many hair care products often only contain traces of the valuable oil. These marketing tactics allow companies to increase prices and persuade consumers to purchase, without actually enabling the full effect of the oil.

You can add a small amount of the oil to your favourite shampoo and get the full desired effect. Use 100 percent pure argan oil and add 1/2 tsp to 200 ml of shampoo, conditioner or hair treatment. Note - if you add too much argan oil, the hair will look streaky and greasy after washing.

Reines Arganöl Pure argan oil is also a potential hair treatment. Cosmetic argan oil is usually added to the production process of shampoos: this oil has a light colour and is almost odourless. It is also possible to use pure argan oil for hair and scalp, the effect is the same. However, the nutty smell in the hair is not for everyone. This is not a problem when using the oil to treat the hair and/or scalp before washing, as the oil is washed out again, and the smell does not linger. Various possible uses are described below. Find the right one for you!

Dull and dry hair

The use of argan oil is particularly effective on dry and dull hair, including bleached hair. The ingredients, especially vitamin E, give the hair elasticity, shine and body. Spread pure argan oil from the tips upwards before washing in the hair.

Argan oil as a finish

Finish Many hairdressers consider argan oil vital for the perfect finish. After hairstyling with the hair dryer, a small, fine amount of a hair treatment with cosmetic or pure argan oil is distributed through the tips of the hair and carefully spread over the top of the hair with the palm of the hand.

The hair falls softly, shines a little more and feels light and lively. Treat yourself to this treatment at home after every hair wash!

For a healthy scalp

Kopfhaut The substances contained in argan oil regenerate the scalp. A healthy, well-perfused scalp ensures healthy hair growth. Every hair grows from a hair cell called the hair follicle. If dead skin cease to be efficiently removed from the follicle cells, they clog and can catch fire. The pore exit hardens and the hair cannot grow. Vitamin E stimulates blood circulation, makes the hair follicles soft and smooth, and facilitates the proper passage of dead skin cells out of the follicle shaft.

With dandruff

Haarpflege gegen Shuppen When dead skin cells detach from the scalp, they become visible as white flakes in hair that fall on the shoulders and are visible on clothing. Causes can include: dry scalp, allergies, poor quality shampoos or an overly frequent hair washing routine. Massage pure argan oil into the scalp 1 hour before shampooing and then wash your hair with a mild strength, or even medical, shampoo. If the dandruff does not return, you should also take the oil orally (3 tablespoons / day).

In psoriasis on the scalp

People suffering from psoriasis also develop calloused flakes of skin on the scalp, which are associated with severe itching and make combing the hair an ordeal. Argan oil with its anti-inflammatory effect heals inflammation, loosens the scabs and relieves the itching. Apply pure, 100% argan oil to the scalp and massage it well into the scalp. After 30 - 60 minutes, the argan oil separates the horn scales that have been glued to a crust and allows them to be rinsed out during subsequent washing.

You can also carefully remove the horn scales with a medium-sized comb with round tines. The contained tocopherols and phytostenols take away the unpleasant itching, help the dry scalp to bind moisture better and support the healing process. Then wash the hair with a mild shampoo so as not to dry out the hair bottom too much. An additional oral intake is recommended, since argan oil can also develop its regulating effect from the inside.

Hair loss

A massage of the hair roots with argan oil ensures a healthy scalp, promotes blood circulation, wicks away old waste and revitalizes the scalp. All substances contained in argan oil care for the scalp and promote hair growth. Also, it helps prevent hair loss due to inflammatory causes. It binds dead skin cells, which can clog the pores and can also cause bad hair growth or hair loss.

Genetic hair loss cannot be prevented or even delayed with argan oil. In any case, in the case of hair loss, it is always worth trying to massage the scalp with argan oil 2 to 3 times a week and also apply the oil orally. The scalp absorbs the oil particularly well when you warm it up and mix it with lemon juice: eg 1 tbsp argan oil + 1 tsp lemon juice.

Argan oil for eyelashes

Argan oil also helps your eyelashes grow stronger and more naturally beautiful. Apply a little oil to the hair roots on the side of the eyelid with a cotton swab and massage the oil into the eyelid skin using small circular motions. The regenerative and circulation-promoting effect also stimulates the hair growth of the eyelashes.

Beard care

BartpflegeArgan oil is also a well utilized on facial hair. The skin in the beard area often becomes inflamed or reddened, sometimes presenting with pimples in shaved areas. This is where the oil soothes and relieves the itching that often results from dry skin. After a beard shave or a beard wash, rub the skin underneath and the freshly shaved skin with argan oil, to which you can also mix with a few drops of citrus oil. Small cuts and abrasions are reduced very quickly, and an aftershave is often no longer necessary. Your beard also benefits: it shines and has a supple, smoother feel. Use the oil sparingly and put little on your index and middle fingers and massage it - more into the skin than the beard! With sparse beard growth, argan oil can promote hair growth if beard hair fails or does not grow at all due to clogged hair follicles. The strength of the beard growth is always dependent on genetic factors.

Gray hair

There is no evidence to show that Argan oil prevents hair from turning grey. Nevertheless, caring for the hair root itself may delay the greying of the hair. If you begin treatments aimed at removing grey hairs, or cessation of further greying, simultaneous argan oil capsular intake is recommended. According to several studies, it is beneficial on the hormone balance and internal homeostasis. Anxiety, malnutrition and a stressful lifestyle can lead to premature graying of the hair, which can be mitigated through Argan oil intake.
